Our Indian muslim brothers should understand that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is not against them. It clearly states that it has been enacted to provide citizenship to those minorities (like Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis and Buddists) who were forced to flee from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan because of getting severely persecuted and tortured for decades over there. If someone still calls this Act as discriminatory or anti-muslim, then here are a few questions that he/she needs to answer:- (1) Are muslims a minority in the above 3 countries? Have they been persecuted there? Obviously No. Then how can they too be allowed an Indian citizenship? (2) Has an average muslim family gone poorer in the last 5 years? No. The average monthly income of a muslim family has also rose by 30% in the last 5 years of Modi regime, just like what it has done with Hindu families.
