INTRODUCTION

In December of 2019, the world came to know about a new kind of virus that was affecting lives in the central city of Wuhan in the communist state of China. First of all, most of the other nations took it very lightly, assuming it to be a very normal kind of virus, that would get cured with no big trouble. But as time passed and more and cases got registered in mainland China, concerns grew louder worldwide. Then, in February 2020, people came to know that there were more than 50,000 people affected by this new kind of Virus (now known as the CoronaVirus) inside China and had already killed more than 2,000 people over there. The scientists named it COVID19 as it was one among a group of coronaviruses that come into existence from time to time, like the SARS, MERS and other types of viruses which cause respiratory problems to humans and are contagious in nature.
By mid-february, along with China, there were other 5 nations which were reported to have a few cases of the virus, viz.Italy, Iran, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. By the beginning of March, 2020 this list increased massively. The WHO (World Health Organisation) was compelled to declare it as "a Global pandemic", but by then it was very late for most of the countries.

Countries that got affected heavily by this late declaration of the extreme danger threatened by this virus were the United States, Italy, Spain, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. By the time, these nations could know any thing about this disease, due to its contagious nature it had already spread to thousands of people there. The panic had already begun and the entire world got tensed.

Until March 10, still there was comparatively less tension in warmer countries (where the average temperature is in the range of 25C or more) like my motherland India, Brazil, Peru, Equador, Pakistan, etc, as it was believed that the virus would grow more and faster in countries with a colder climate like that found in Europe. But as the number of new cases, kept on mounting by each passing day, even in the above-listed  warmer countries, it was a panic situation throughout the world. All governments across nations got engaged in a lethargic exercise of saving lives through any means possible. The number of cases grew very rapidly by then in Italy, USA and Spain.

Meanwhile, China which was the evil birthplace of this dreaded virus declared that now it was beginning to exercise control over the virus and very shortly it will be free from it. The number of new cases over there, which were increasing by a rapid rate previously (in thousands), now were reported to get registered just in a few dozens only all of a sudden. Whilst it took just about a month for the number of cases in China to grow from zero to 70,000, it grew by just 10,000 in the following month!! The rate of rise of the number of deaths due to this virus also decreased in China, all of a sudden. The reason which the communist government over there led by Xi Ping, gave to the world was that through containment measures like Lockdown of the city of Wuhan, they were able to control the virus now.

After March 17, the scenario was totally unexpected. The number of new cases in China were growing very slowly now (in just about a few dozens per day) whereas in USA, Italy and Spain they were growing by thousands. China was getting healed and was getting back on track while these countries and so many other ones in the world, were reeling under heavy damage of life caused by the virus. For China, it was good news all the way whereas for the rest of the world, it was the worst news perhaps in an entire century. It was now that intellectuals all over the globe started to analysis the sequence of events that took place in China. By April 2020, the economists, sociologists, epidemiologists and quite a few governments across the globe came to the conclusion that whether it was a mistake or not, China should be held completely responsible for the extremely heavy loss of lives as well as for the loss of billions of dollars of economy throughout the world. Most of them were of the opinion that the theories that China gave to the world about the birth and the propagation of virus were unreliable, incorrect and unauthentic. It was China, which must pay the Price for all the mess that was created.
