I just saw a documentary on the condition of Muslims living inside India, since Modi became Prime Minister, 7 years ago. It showed that Modi's policies have put the entire population of more than 20 crore Muslims of India in a state of enforced passiveness. I knew it would be anti-India, trying to portray an evil picture of the things happening in India and it was. But let us see how Modi has handled the Muslims of his country in these 7 years.
Before he became the PM, frequent riots used to take place in certain parts of the country especially in cities like Muzaffarabad, Bhopal, etc on a regular basis. Take any festival say Janmasthami - one could bet on the possibility of riots over there. That has completely stopped. Those among the Muslims who were violent, understood very clearly that if they start any riot, they will definitely get punished. That element of fear which was absent when the Congress party was ruling at the Centre, has now been firmly established. Hats of to Modi for that.
Muslims of this country were highly apprehensive of Modi becoming the PM when his party won the majority of the seats in 2014 General Elections. They felt that their worst nightmares would come alive, if Modi became the PM. How well has Modi managed to safely escort them out of that apprehension. His policies for those Muslims who want to educate themselves, get higher designations in private and public sector jobs, start their own business - have been excellent. This is proven by the statistical data given by the finance ministry recently which says that over the course of the last 7 years the Muslim community's per Capita income has grown almost at par with that of the Hindus. Of course, it still lags behind that of Hindus, because most Muslims are not educated in India, (which actually shows the failure of the Congress party, whom ironically they have supported so very much). But we are talking of the increase in their per capita income and that increase has been the same as that of the Hindus in percentage terms. This is nothing but one more feather in the hat of Modi.
Whilst looking into the needs of those right-minded Muslims who want to stay connected with the mainstream of India and addressing all their needs very well, Modi has categorically shown how tough he is towards those Muslims who want to create trouble. The utterly bold manner in which he abrogated article 370 and then converted the state of Jammu & Kashmir into a Union Territory, putting all its notorious leaders like Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah under house arrest, deserves a lot of applause. These steps were a message to not just those outlaws among Muslims but to all notorious elements throughout India that he is capable to cut you to your size, in case you decide to create trouble. Those wise among the Muslims of India know by now, that Modi is not against Muslims, as what they had feared 7 years ago. In fact many of them are now happy that he is the PM and wanting to vote for him and his party wherever state legislative assembly elections are coming up. The outstanding victory of the BJP in the Municipal corporation elections of 6 major cities of Gujarat showed that people had voted overwhelmingly for the BJP this time. The victory margins of their candidates was higher than any municipal elections in the last 20 years. This shows that the Muslims of these cities also voted for Modi and his party during these elections. Those who wish good for this country in future, will surely congratulate Modi for being successful in establishing that correct idea among the right-minded Muslims that it was the Congress party that was the villain for them actually and not Modi and his party. Because the Congress came to them only during the election time to get their votes but then never cared for their well-being, their education, their income, etc. Whereas Modi has shown that he really cares for the Muslims too as much as he cares for all other people from other religions, living inside India. Modi has thus been able to transform the entire thinking process of the Muslims of India. He has made this community stronger by giving them more education, more income and taking away all their anti-social habits wherever they had existed. He has proven very emphatically that his policy of SaB Ka SaaTH SaB Ka VIKaS has prevailed. Lots of Kudos to this gentleman with a long white beard!!!
