China can't be trusted, Modiji!

China can't be trusted, Modiji ========================= I am amused by the headlines of Indian as well as US news channels after the meeting of Indian PM Modi with the Chinese premier Xi Jin Ping and Russian President Vladimir Putin inside China. Let's have some fun. Shouldn't we?🤔 😀 So here we go: Republic TV (owned by the biggest drama artist cum journalist on the planet, Arnab Goswami): Trump cut to size, after the emergence of a new global south axis! 🤔  What? You mean if Modi meets the Chinese and Russian leaders then the global weightage and importance of a person as powerful as an US President goes down? How? Ofcourse Trump has indeed taken a very bad step by singling out India by virtue of his new disease TIMS "tariff-imposition-madness-syndrome." But does that mean his global importance suddenly decreases substantially? Noooo...ofcourse no. Use common sense, Arnab 'senseless' Goswami, please!  How can you forget that it was your mouth who decl...

The real reason behind Trump's tariffs on India

Image
US President Trump has been extremely harsh, almost hostile, towards India in the last 1 month, especially in the last fortnight. He has made remarks about India in the same tone as he would make while talking about Iran. Every geopolitical analyst worldwide is shocked as to why the President has turned so bad for India. In India, the stock markets have plunged by about 4% after Trump declared his new "50% tariff on India" plan.  Though it's common-sense-lacking-journalists like Arnab Goswami, would keep challanging Trump that nothing substantial would happen to the Indian economy because of the 50% tariffs on US imports, the underlying current as is obvious, is that of caution and rather sad. It's been "a paradigm shift" virtually in Trump's behaviour towards India now and it seems irreversible atleast for the next year or two. Scratching their heads, the Indian financial analysts and pundits of International geopolitics still can't find a logical e...

Kangana, You are wrong this time!

Image
Jaya Amitabh Bachchan   Kangana Ranaut   So it's like Jaya Bachchan pushes that guy away, trying to take a selfie with her without her permission. It opens up the pandora's box in the idle social media enthusiasts, especially the likes of Kangana Ranaut, who never misses to comment upon anything, though it's totally unrelated to her area of work.   She calls a seasoned veteran, almost a legend like Jayaji, "a spoilt old woman, surviving only on the strength and influence of her highly influential superstar husband Amitabh Bachchan..." Doesn't just stop there. She asks Jayaji to stop her public tantrums and dramebaazi...!😀😀 Dear Kanganaji, with all due regards to your illustrious acting track record, you are wrong this time. Jaya Bachchan fully deserves to do what she did. Any randomn Tom Dick Harry/ ऐरा गेरा doesn't have any right to infringe the space around any celebrity, even a small one, let alone a veteran like Jaya Amitabh Bachchan. When a celebrit...

Trump surrenders to Putin's demands

Image
Trump surrenders to Putin's demands: ==================================  The news that the Russian President, the number 1 enemy of America and the main villain behind the loss of tens of thousands of human lives in the ugly Russia - Ukraine war Vladimir Putin, is coming to America (yes!!) for a Trump-Putin summit, is definitely "shocking." Here is why: During his entire campaign for becoming the 47th US President, Donald J Trump had been shouting from a rooftop that once he becomes the President he would end the Russia- Ukraine war, now going on for almost 3 & a half years, in just a few hours! But the ground reality is that, it's been almost 7 months since Trump has been the 47th US President, but he "has NOT" been able to bring an end to that war. That's giving repeated opportunities to his rivals and critics within the US and outside it, to mock at him, to call him a bragging expert. So Trump is now desperate to bring an end to this war more be...

The Impact of IPL and T20 cricket

Virat Kohli in 2008, was like a small talented child, ready to get moulded in whichever direction, his mentors wished.  Virat Kohli in 2008 Here the mentors being BCCI, they could have moulded him into a much more substantial player - a great Test batsman alike Sachin Tendulkar. But instead, they gave him the freeway of doing things as per his desire. So the lad obviously focused more on what gives him a better financial output rather than focusing more actually on what he deserved - becoming a great test batsman. His talent was so prodigious that in 2013 it seemed Virat would break all records in all formats by the time he hangs his shoes.  But no, that was not to happen. After a glorious run of 9 years in Test matches, and scoring more than 7500 runs, with 25 test centuries, he decided to focus more on what gave him more money. I wonder how such an intelligent person can ever go greedy! But here we were, watching a new Virat Kohli after 2020. In the last 5 years he has score...

Back to "Unstable Governments" in India and its global implications

The General Election held every 5 years in India help its voters decide, their choice about who is going to lead it. It's the 7th largest country (in terms of area) in the world and the largest democracy in the world with a population of more than 1.4 billion people living there. It's one of the fastest growing economies of the world and recently in size it became the 3rd largest economy, overtaking the United Kingdom. Looking its increasing stature globally, these General Elections of India carry a massive impact in the geopolitical scenario of Asia Pacific as well as the entire world. So let's delve deeper into the results and what aftereffect it can have on a global scale. After having about 25 years of governments with unclear majorities, India was fortunate enough to have a government with a clear majority when Mr. Narendra Modi, became the Prime Minister of the country back in 2014. His party the Bharatiya Janata Party came into power winning 281 parliamentary seats o...

Bilawal gets a snub!

Image
See new #BilawalBhuttoZardari didn't attend SCO summit because it was compulsory for the Pakistani govt to send its representative. In the last 12 years, there have been quite a few such occasions when Pakistan has fully denied to send its representative to India, despite requests from other countries. Then what prompted the #ShahbazSharif govt. to send this man to India? Did he choose to override his political boss's decision and go to India by himself? Clearly, he can't do that. He can't practically defy a denial message from Sharif and visit India officially. That leaves only one option. He came because the pakistani govt. wanted him to. Sharif's govt. has been wanting a dialogue with India's Modi govt. since about a month now. Before a month, they officially had asked for a one-to-one bilateral meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the two neighbors. But Modi govt. had blatantly refused such a meeting, until the time the issue of handing over of the pe...
