When I was 5 years old, Sat in a cave, I was hiding from those young friends Playing hide and seek On those grassy fields I fell down I was so young then Take me back to when  I  Found myself Saw a new world Made friends  And lost them through the years I have not seen the roaring rivers Since so long I know I have grown  I can't wait to go home I am on my way Driving at 90 Down those country lanes  Singing to "Tiny dancer" And I miss the way  You make me feel  And It's real We watched the sunset  Over the mountains and the field 16 years old  Smoking hand-rolled cigarettes Running from the law  Through the backfields And getting drunk with my friends Had my first kiss on a Friday Night I don't reckon I did it right  I was so young then  Take me back to when We found  Week-end jobs  When we got paid We would buy cheap spirits  And drink them straight  Me and my friends  Have not thrown up in so long Oh How we have grown
